The Velocity Prefabricated Terminal Buildings are designed following the MIRA principle, which aims to consolidate multiple airport functions into a single, compact modular structure. This innovative approach reduces environmental impact and enhances operational efficiency by integrating various essential components such as the Control Tower, Technical/Energy Center, Rescue and Fire Fighting services, Operator’s Offices, Aircraft Handling Services, and terminals for both passengers and cargo.
Three distinct modular blocs define the layout: the Central Operations, which hosts integral services across two levels; the Passenger Operations, located adjacent to the central module; and the Cargo Operations, which is a flexible addition designed to scale with traffic needs. This modularity grants compliance with international standards set by ICAO, IATA, ACI, FAA, and EASA.
