Velocity Airport Solutions will be displaying at WATM with our parent company GECI Group at stand 562.
The 120sqm stand will host 3 installations of Velocity's ITWP (Integrated Tower Working Position) and the Airside Driving and GSE Simulator in VR mode. As always, we welcome our customers both current and future ones to visit us to experience the latest additions to our software and technology.
Velocity likes to thank all guests that visited us at our stand during the World ATM 2016. We met with people from all over the world, actually from 6 continents and over 30 different ANSPs. Our other friends from the industry were also frequent visitors, if not only for the sherry, then for the groundbreaking next generation touchscreen UI for ATCOS and the integrated map display.
Again, thank you for visiting and sorry for the ones that didn't get a chance to get the product demonstration. As promised we're now sending out further reading material and information. See you next year at the World ATM in Madrid.
Be a part of a team implementing and deploying new era of ATC systems. We’re looking for people with serious interest in the airport and aviation sector. Love of travelling won’t hurt as most of our projects are in Asia and Africa. Qualification requirements:
A university level Project Management education (or some bloody impressive references)
Great interest in the aviation and airport domain
Experience in tender work, preferably in Asia and Africa.
Job location is at the company headquarters in Lund, Sweden. Remote work contracts will be considered upon request.
1st of December, Velocity opened up new offices in Sweden. The offices are located in the Ideon IT campus area in Lund Sweden and close to many of Sweden's (and world's) leading IT companies. The location will provide better access between the company and European customers and shorten service and travel time to our other market areas. Additionally, meeting and training rooms will provide the needed facility for the company's rapid expansion.
The offices will host much of Velocity's headquarters operation but the company will still maintain development and support from the Icelandic offices where originally established.
